Adding a New Developer

If you would like to become a developer for a SourceForge project, get into contact with the project's administrator(s). If they decide to make you a developer, they will need your SourceForge user name ("Unix Name".) Administrators can add new developers like this:

• Go to SourceForge
• Click Login via SSL
• Go to the project's summary page (http://sf.net/project/PROJECT-NAME)
• Click on Admin
• In Group Members section, enter the user's "Unix Name" in the box and click the Add User button
• Fill out the Project Developer Permissions screen that appears
• Click on the Update Developer Permissions button
• Logout from SourceForge
